We recommend always using the BUFF® Filter Mask with the filter for the highest filtration efficiency, otherwise none of our products will provide 99% bacterial filtration efficiency. The filter has been specially designed to fit the shape of BUFF® masks and meet the bacterial filtration and air permeability standards of EN14683:2019 for surgical masks, types I and II.
